This week I have been learning again what gives a strong foundation in our lives. I think it's a wonderful thing to have a strong foundation. Here is what I mean:
Never ever Hit
Never ever scream (unless you need help)
Never ever criticize
Have a no upset rule in your life
Be unconditionally supportive
Be on time
Tell the truth
Do what you say you are going to do
When you break any of these rules or promises you loose character. Don't be in a hurried rush always. Give your life space between appointments or activities. Don't over promise. In fact, under promise and over deliver...and finally just face the fact that we can't be all things to all people.
Remembering this will always give you a strong foundation and life will flourish and prosper if you always have a strong foundation!

Just look at the great time I had at my quick 2 day conference in San Francisco. I got to do the coolest stuff on the planet and there is nothing better than spending it with a group of like minded people across the US and Canada who share a common interest in building a business on a complete referral basis. There is nothing like finding ways to "wow" the client and formulating was to build a consistent constant flow of business so that I can find ways to help all my friends, neighbors and those I care about to a wonderfully successful home buying or selling process. The sunrise picture is the view we had right our our hotel window where we had a lot of fun watching the planes land and take off. I really fun and different get away!!
The thing I think I learned the most from this conference is just being the nicest person and leader you can be like my friend...
This nice young lady in the picture below is my friend Jacqui Dobens from LA, CA. She is the ultimate of a nice people person. She is really great along with others at this event and you know who you are!
I'm out for a couple of days in Beautiful San Francisco. Staying on the cutting even the bleeding edge for you is something that I aspire. I love to learn and to share. Plus as a real estate consultant I always have to be making new friends and networking with folks across our nation because someday you may need me to refer you or someone you know to someone I trust.

Just as my book has a clock as some symbolism on the cover...I would like to relate how I love living in the now, now! I believe my fantastic future is my reality because I focus on making my present precious. I love that thought. I love my memory and my ability to visualize the future and I choose to live in the moment.
I love imagining a clock and every hour has the word NOW. So when I ask myself, "What time is it?" I automatically say to myself, "It's NOW."
I stop for a minute and allow myself to get in touch with this moment. Whenever I've accomplished anything it's in the present. All my moments of tremendous insight have always taken place in my present.
I have enjoyed May and how this month has been a big focus on helping others through a reality check by understanding how a price on a home can determine the amount of time it takes to sell and how I focus on giving advice to clients that relate to "time on the market."

May the cycling season begin and riding with friends is the best. Plus a day with my daughters and son in law made it picture perfect! I'm not giving up on our Denver Nuggets either! This picture was taken up in Evergreen and my fellow Bankable Results Mastermind member's home Anne... with her husband Terry who also is a great rider. We did 33 miles of up and down rollers that really gave us a great workout and the views were spectacular. We live in a beautiful place and don't take it for granted sometimes between busy work weeks. A reminder to all my friends and family.
Can you imagine how different your life and our world would be if we started with a smart morning ritual every day that included a power berry smoothie instead of the staple drink most Americans drink. Weeks ago I took a serious 12 week class called
"Power Productivity." I learned so much and it's one of the biggest things I learned was how to even do a better job starting my day. It's called your "Smart Start Morning Ritual." It's so much more than a smoothie. I'm not going to go into all the details but I will tell you it has given me even more focus to help you. I get more done and I keep my promises. I prefer to call my goals promises because goals are meant to be broken, but my promises are sacred and I keep those promises by getting them done.
I've included some pictures to give you some hints of what I do each morning with a one day a week rest day. I also work on getting rid of all the "shoulds" in my life. You know those things you "should" get done! We all have them. After my morning ritual I focus on my first 90 minutes and really get into my big opportunities and I use my peers in the business to keep me accountable. The entire program was inspirational!
$242,500 a very fine home! After 25 years in Real Estate and hundreds of homes later I finally list a home on my street...well a street with my name! How Cool Is This!!!!!

Sometimes it takes years to go from survival all the way to being significant. Again I devote May to my new book: "Secrets to Mastering the Art of Home Selling". My number one goal is to make a significant change in peoples lives with those carefully selected words published in my book. I'm curious how you feel about this word "Significant" and how someday you might make a significant change for the good in peoples lives. Many of my friends, neighbors, and family are already this to others. Some related words as far as the dictionary refers to this word are... important, substantial, meaning. Also referred to as "having or likely to having made a major effect." My purpose in writing this book is for you to catch the vision of how important the truth is and how truth can be understood through more experience and practice as to pricing and confidence in pricing as revealed by a real estate consultant to their client or potential client. So today really contemplate these two words:
Significant
and
Truth
My promise to you is to make a significant difference in your life and I do this by telling the truth.
I continue to dedicate this month to my new book. It is so exciting to put this book in peoples hands...like just this morning my spin instructor was so happy to get a copy from me. I got to thinking if I had it at a book store of some sort I could be lost as just another book in the crowd and I figured having it at a place where I feel comfortable and trust the environment would suit me and my friends best. Since 1996 I have been working out at this gym and from time to time I see different displays from business people in the community and it works well. So these are a group of people not only I work out with but the people who run the facility are like family to me. Here are a couple of pictures I took as we are in Provo at my son-in-laws graduation. We are having a great time! Susan and I had a nice chance to visit the Provo Temple. This Temple is busiest in the world. Casey graduated with masters degree in "Information Systems Management" This is a nice shot of Bethany and Casey just after commencement exercises. One more ceremony today. The weather is holding out for us! This has been a nice little recovery time and to reconnect with our family. Kendra our 3rd daughter is spending time with us too and she is staying busy with college classes and work down here too!
Colorado is Ski Country USA! Not to forget to mention bicycling, fishing, hunting, and other mountain adventures!
Red Rocks Ampitheater is a one of the most amazing outdoor theaters where great performers over the years have performed.
Downtown Denver with the capital and 16th street mall and The Denver Performing Arts... wraps Denver up as a leading stop for fun and conventions etc.
Don't forget Eliches Amusement Park...one of the finest parks around located Downtown Denver.

I also want to reflect on this day as we take a moment to pause today as 10 years ago today my family and I were a big part of the Columbine shootings. We feel for the families in our community who lost a loved one or a loved one that was injured during that day of unforgettable events. Bethany our oldest was there as a Freshman and is also thinking and praying like we are as we reflect on this 10 year anniversary. Our prayers go out to the families and our community...Jim
Imagine coming into my home...what would you find. Many of the same things I post on my blog. Many of what is in my categories located on the left column of this blog. I do my best to make my world a place that can make your world a better place. I want you to feel comfortable. I want you to be inspired. I want you to become a better person so you can help others be better. I'm curious if you have a place I can go that resembles your home? Yesterday I gave a presentation on blogging and I continue to realize that what I post in video, audio, text, and pictures all resembles things that I display in my home. Because all my friends can't come into my home all at once a blog is a great place to journal and post that can accomplish essentially the same thing. Many people in our group yesterday I believe caught the vision of this. A vision that many don't understand yet. I love the fact that I can convey my heart and important messages to you through this blog.

Today was announced by my daughter that she will be having a BOY! The pictures is one frame of a shot that I can imagine because a grandfather and a grandson is a very special thing. As special as can be. I can now spoil this young guy with toys I could never buy before. I can imagine fun times with the boys...Casey Dad included. I can imagine games and events I never got to go to before. Like this picture with the soccer ball or maybe a football or maybe a tennis ball or maybe a fishing pole. I can imagine many fun and honorable times ahead because Casey and Bethany will be the most awesome parents around. Today was a perfect day to find out that my first grand child will be a boy.
